The group is also assisted by various parents who have been vetted with CRB checks by the Scout Association for working with young people and by several Explorer Scouts who have moved on to the District Explorer group but who still wish to maintain close contact with the Crossroads Scout Group. We would always welcome assistance and help from anyone wishing to join our group - there are many ways you could help so please get in touch and we can find a place for you in this local voluntary community group.
Cross Roads Scout Group
8th Keighley Scout group, based at Cross Roads Lees Primary School, have three healthy sections -
Beaver Scouts - young people aged 6 to 8 years - who meet on a Tuesday night between 6pm and 7pm
Cub Scouts young people aged 8 to 10 1/2 -who also meet on Tuesday night between 7:15pm and 8:30pm
Scouts - young people aged 10 1/2 to 14 year who meet on Thursday night between 7pm and 9pm.

Older Scouts called explorers age 14-18 years are a district group, There are two Explorer groups in the district - one based at Riddlesden Scout hut - meeting on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9PM
a second group meet at Steeton St Stephens Church Mondays 7pm to 9pm
