Subs: we collect subs (£10) monthly to pay for the school hall hire – the insurance and subscription to the Scout association and to cover expenses of the group at meetings and activities run by the district. We ask if these subscriptions can be paid Monthly or 3 monthly please so that we can cover these costs
This will greatly help our new treasurer in keeping up with the incoming and outgoing expenses.
Would all Parents please note that on occasions we take photographs of our young people in the Scout Group. We may publish some of these on our website
here or use them on the photo wall in the school. We will only use them to promote the Scout
group or the District. We have used photos in the past to highlight an event in the Keighley news. However, if any parent is not willing to allow a photo of their young person to be published in any form please advise us before any activity, event or meeting and we will unconditionally conform to your wishes
Behaviour We would ask all Parents to remind their young people to please behave at our meetings - with the large groups we are now dealing with it is becoming increasing difficult for the leaders to keep proper and safe control at times. If we find that a young person will not behave reasonably at our meetings then we will have no option but to exclude them from our meetings. Can you please remind your young one on a regular weekly basis that they must behave and do what the leaders ask them to do without question - bad behaviour looses us young people and leaders - and we do not want to loose anyone!
